Born in Germany, his Greek parents named him Yorgos, meaning ‘farmer’. Growing up alternatively in Germany and Greece, he finally chose UK to complete a master in art and design.
Following various employments in business and digital marketing, he is currently working as a motion Graphic designer in London.

Yorgos multi-cultural upbringing, dark materialism, gender inequalities, fear, and uncertainty in our world in crisis has inspired the artist’s work on human complexity. Rather than focusing on cognitive justifications and expressions, he follows human gestures, taking physical interactions as signs for meanings, emotions, and relations. The moral and emotional qualities of human beings are embodied and emerge through the movement of the body and its interaction with space. The bodies are naked, which enhances its distance from socially constructed views of class, distinction, beauty, and sexuality.
